Back in 2018, I was consulting for mid-sized companies across Ontario. The same problem kept coming up — teams knew Excel basics but couldn't build models that actually helped with decisions.
CFOs would ask for scenario analysis on acquisitions or expansion plans. The teams would spend weeks building something that looked impressive but couldn't handle simple changes without breaking. I'd end up rebuilding everything from scratch.
